About M e

Originally from Australia I have spent much of my adult life abroad. My 20's were spent deep in the hustle life in a corporate job as a Civil Engineer. This job took me across the world to the Middle East and Africa but as I approached my 30's I wanted a change. For me motherhood, teaching yoga and committing to my creative self was that change.

Motherhood expanded my life in more ways than I could imagine, from feeling more embodied to listening deeply to my own inner wisdom allowing my intuition to guide me. Ever since, I have been striving for deeper connections and deeper meaning in my existence.

After the near breakdown of my marriage in 2021 and a number of panic attacks later I sought out therapy for the second time in my life. I got honest with myself and committed to doing the hard inner work and through this I was able to label what it was that I struggled with.

Having a label for what I was struggling with, while upsetting, was the first step to healing. My struggles went from ambiguous to tangible, and tangible is something I could work with. Learning how and why I developed patterns in my life gave me the compassion I needed to forgive myself and break free from their cycle. I was able to bring awareness to my actions and the reasons why I was stuck in unhealthy patterns. Each step forward is another step towards freedom.

To this day I continue to work on dismantling these patterns that don’t serve me and the life I want. After all, this is a life long journey. I believe that my dedication to the practice of yoga, meditation and mindfulness that has allowed me to continue to work on my inner self outside the comfort and safety of my therapist's office. Using meditation and mindfulness practices to support my mental health has led to feeling a sense of empowerment, safety and embodiment that has allowed me to feel fully in control of my own personal healing.

It is this sense of empowerment, safety and embodiment that I strive to help my clients find so that they too can take charge of their mental health.
